(More customer reviews)This is one of those items that I thought to myself, "I wonder if there's a camo version of a modern-day serape available online anywhere?" I asked myself this because my current fleece jackets have all suffered damaged zippers, making them useless, and I had officially tired of buying fleece jackets that suffered zipper failure before fashion obsolescence. This item has no zippers!
Okay, so I bought it primarily because it answered the above question AND because it was on sale for about 50% off when I ordered it. I would never have paid $50 or more for it.
However, as a modern-day "serape"/poncho, it's everything you could want. It's a thick, soft fleece material with an understated and way-cool camo design. The hole might be a tad too long, but it hasn't bothered me, yet. Doesn't blow around in light-to-moderate wind gusts as I feared it might (fabric is fairly thick), and it's definitely warm like a comfy sweater. Throws back over either/both shoulder(s) fairly okay to allow you to do some rudimentary stuff, but it definitely cannot double as a sweater/pull-over for indoor/outdoor utility.
You don't see any men wearing these (of any style/material) around where I live, but you do see plenty of women with girlified versions (in non-fleece materials, though), so you won't be totally out of step with fashion, generally, but you will likely stick out a bit.
