(More customer reviews)High quality acorns for your Cavalry hat. Secures very well to keep your hat on and looks great to boot. Has a tough outer metallic covering that does not fray. The black in the cord is actually laced with gold metallic also - more subdued than a solid gold cord. Definitely a cheap 'yarn' type hat cord. You'll be pleased with this. I would suggest sewing a loop on each side of your hat to keep the acorn band on if you're active at all though, or if you bend over. The band may fall off of your hat without you realizing it. If you're just wearing the hat leisurely, no problems.
