(More customer reviews)This is a quality leather vest. It is intended for casual and, at least in the southwest, dress up wear. It isn't designed for rough and tumble work conditions. It is every bit as nice as it looks - not shiny and mine is darker than the picture. Roper ships the vest in a full size, double cardboard container so it arrived without folds, creases or dings of any kind. Do consider ordering a size larger (thanks to all the reviewers who suggested this) as it seems to be sized for the slim and trim. (I like it fitting with a little more breathing room, thus the size larger.) Top notch vest - thanks Roper!
