(More customer reviews)This is an engraved design, not a printed on. Coloring is painted (or somehow layered on) and very very accurate. Really beautiful design.
The one thing I don't like about this bolo is the clasp on the back - it flips up/down and presses against the tie to hold it in place. I have pulled on the tie strings before and had the clasp come out of place, but put it back in with pliers. (You really have to yank on the strings for that clasp to open up though.) Opening the clasp for adjustment is a bit of a challenge, but something like a pen cap helps.
Still a really nice piece, and I'm happy I got it. It's unique and attention getting.
