(More customer reviews)I bought this hat to wear at a family reunion this July in Montana. I had to exchange my Eddy Bros Kent for a 7-1/4 because the 7-3/8 was too large. I bought a felt Master Hatters La Mesa in 7-3/8 which fit me perfectly (I highly recommend that hat). Maybe its brand different or possible felt vs straw is different? I havent owned too many cowboy hats so I am not sure why the sizing was so different.
I recieved my correct size hat 7-1/4 which fits great but the box was damaged in shipping and the hat was slightly mis-shaped. So, here I go again...shipped it back for another one! I also noticed the second hats band was a little different, the cut was a little longer. The first hat looked great but the sizing was off. At least its free shipping. Hat #3 is on its way!
#3 Hat looks used and the quality of the straw is terrible. There are large pieces of straw that are miswoven and then laquered with the ivory. It looks cheap...the orginal hat I recieved looked great but the sizing was off. I'm tired of this and wont order again...sending it back.
