It is big enough to carry my huge wallet, a water bottle, make-up (and to stash movie candy in!) My only slight concern was the color, which is not black but more of a gray color, with silvery embroidery, which is OK but not what I expected.

This Authentic Loungefly Embroidered Day of the Dead Skull bag is boutique quality. Made from heavy-duty canvas with faux-leather silver trimming and dotted textured canvas on the upper purse. Main compartment has wide-opening zipper closure. Interior features 2 open side pockets and one large zipped pocket. Both exterior sides have wide side pockets with magnetic snap closure. Handles and exterior and interior silver faux-leather details. Silver hardware. Base is footed. 13.5 in wide across at base of purse x 10 in tall x 6 in base. One purse, both sides embroidered with same design. This bag is a lighter-color black with muted silver embroidery and details. 7 in drop from top of handle to bag.
