It definately is real western wear, Beadwork and an oldtime idea is a very authentic gauntlet. I especially enjoyed this book because of of the gauntlets I've observed myself and a few pairs that I and my relatives have in our cillections. I still remember the parades on horseback at Nespelum WA and the rich display that were on many participants in the parades.(Nespelum is on the Colville Indian Reservation). When reading this book observe the many colors of beads used, the styles of beadwork, and the types of beads used. Like most of the Collection Books this one offers a view of the past that is not with us now...Ken
